Design and inspect wood structures in compliance with the IRC, IBC, and local codes. Evaluate a continuous load path and structural integrity.
Provide braced wall plan for wood framing to resist wind and seismic loads. Required for new construction and additions. We specify the type and location of braced panels, steel panels, holdowns, etc.
Probable Maximum Loss: Analyze seismic behavior of structures and assess the possible loss in an earthquake.
Design restaurant, church, convention center, industrial, and similar buildings. Steel and concrete are the most common structural materials in these buildings. You may also see cold-formed steel, bar joist, and metal deck in these buildings.
Provide construction drawings for additions, replacing load-bearing walls with beams, and reinforcing structures for change of occupancy.
Design and inspect solid concrete and reinforced masonry retaining walls. Soil or water pressure and basement wall displacement can be restrained by retaining walls.

Analyze and design metal buildings constructed with prefabricated steel sections. Metal buildings are less expensive and faster to construct.
